Frequently asked questions

Yes — that's exactly what the box is for. The pot, soil, seed and feed arrive in the right proportions, and the QR video course shows every step from sowing to harvest. The large majority of our customers harvest on their first attempt.

It will. Prudac's varieties are compact types bred specifically for pots and balconies. A balcony or windowsill with 5–6 hours of direct sun a day is enough.

It depends on the variety: peas 8–10 weeks, tomatoes 10–12, peppers 11–13, mini melon and mini cauliflower 12–14. Each product page lists its own timing.

The seed, pot, growing medium and controlled-release feed all come out of the box. All we ask you to supply is water and a sunny spot.

The feed in the box lasts about three months. Refill seed and nutrition products are on the way — join the newsletter and we'll let you know.

Indoors or on an enclosed balcony you can sow all year. Outdoors, wait until the risk of frost has passed — April to June usually gives the best results.
